Successful Meetings and its companion volume Confident Speaking are the first to be introduced as part of the new Rostrum Member Development Framework, which will ultimately contain a number of new programs designed to meet the contemporary needs of members. The new Framework builds on the excellent material which is contained in the Personal Development Program, Intermediate Development Program and the Advanced Development Program. Rostrum is indebted to the members who devoted a great deal of time and effort to produce Successful Meetings, in particular the National Training and Development Officer Freeman Dr. David Thorpe who coordinated its development and who also gave priority to the development of the whole of the new Framework.
